Name the research summary series…win a prize!!

Upon completion of participant enrollment later this fall, PARTNRS will launch an effort to communicate findings to its audiences, including participants, clinicians, community organizations, researchers, etc. PARTNRS will publish new research summaries as a part of this effort, geared toward participants, community agencies, and the general public. Here’s a little teaser of what our summaries will look like:

We polled our participants to see what they want to hear about and now we need YOUR HELP in naming our series of research summaries!! You might have just the catchy phrase or alliteration to catch our readers’ attention!

Send in your suggestions for the ongoing title of these research summaries to anna.arnold@yale.edu. The winner will receive a little gift from Dr. Kershaw himself!

We’re winding down the month here at PARTNRS with a fantastic Friday. We had a busy day today in the office with the PARTNRS team hosting 9 interviews of new parents. July was also one of our busiest months ever, conducting a whopping 52 interviews! This is just another reason why we love our PARTNRS Parents!

August–Here we come!

PARTNRS Community Spotlight: Cornell Scott Hill Health Center

New Haven is lucky to have quality community health centers that provide medical and social support to young families in Connecticut – Cornell Scott Hill Health Center is one of those centers. Hill Health Center is a qualified community health center with numerous staff, such as physicians, mental health professionals, nurses and nurse practitioners, certified phlebotomists, social workers, nutritionists, dentists and dental hygienists. The health center provides quality health care services including outreach to homeless individuals and families, Birth-to-Three services for developmentally delayed children, school-based health centers, outreach and social/educational services for pregnant teenagers, HIV/AIDS education and outreach to at-risk populations, alcohol and drug detoxification programs, transitional shelter for homeless men, and a child and family guidance clinic. The center accepts most insurance, and is an excellent resource for primary and preventative care in New Haven.
