Listening and Connecting

One the most exciting and meaningful parts of my job is hearing about the experiences and feelings our participants have during this dynamic and sometimes stressful time.  The consistently positive outlook that the participants report when they tell us their “baby stories” is truly amazing.  Cynthia and Kwaku have done a wonderful job of listening and connecting with our participants–something that is invaluable not only to our research team, but to our participants as well.  Keep it up PARTNRS!

The Oklahoma study

Here is a link to an interesting article I found this morning. A study conducted by the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) to “examine the influence a father’s intentions may have on a mother’s feelings about her pregnancy and her behaviors before, during and after the pregnancy”.
